What Big Sky Dynamics collects, why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how to exercise your choices.
Who we are

What we collect
We collect business data, not consumer profiles:
- Contact and account data you give us: name, business email, phone, company, billing and shipping addresses, and account contacts.
- Quote and order data: products, quantities, prices, purchase order references, delivery details, serial numbers and invoice history.
- Correspondence: emails and call notes about quotes, orders, support and returns.
- Site technical data: IP address, browser and device information, timestamps and page paths in server logs. Our first-party analytics records page paths, not query strings, and does not record names or email addresses.
- Payment references: invoice and remittance references. We never ask you to enter card details on this site, and we do not store bank credentials.
Why we use it
- To prepare quotes, accept orders, fulfil and deliver equipment, and invoice and collect payment.
- To provide support, handle returns, warranty claims and RMA records.
- To meet tax, accounting and legal obligations.
- To protect the site and the business against fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To improve the site and understand which pages are used, using first-party, non-identifying analytics.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing a contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the business, legal obligations, or consent where we ask for it.
How long we keep it
We keep order, invoice and tax records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and for the warranty period so claims can be handled. Support and returns records are kept while the order relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can resolve disputes. Site logs and analytics are kept for a short operational period and then deleted or aggregated. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the identifiers from it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you
- correct data that is wrong
- delete data we no longer need or are not required to keep
- stop sending you marketing email
- provide a copy of the data you gave us in a common format
Email [email protected] with Privacy request in the subject line. We will confirm what we can do within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity and your connection to the account, and we may need to keep records that the law requires.
How we protect it
We restrict access to buyer data, require multi-factor authentication for administrative access, encrypt data in transit and at rest in our systems, and follow the incident notification commitments on the security & compliance policy.
Children
This is a business site. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our practices change. The effective date at the top of the page always shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell account contacts by email before it applies.
